The ToS is right there, you can read through it. Why trust another rando on these forums for something that could potentially be bannable?
Old thread of someone asking same thing.

Basically

The current rules around using multiple accounts are as follows:

~ No more than 2 clients can be run at the same time on one computer. Anything more will need to be run on a separate PC in the room (i.e laptop on the side).

~ VMWare and other types of emulators for running more than 2 clients on a PC is not allowed.

~ Absolutely no input mirroring allowed; each PC needs to be self-contained with its own mouse/keyboard etc inputs.

Can you start 2 clients with 1 standalone client?

Or do you need 2 clients (standalone/steam or 2 standalone)?

When using steam client you don't input your account data.

Sure, no problem, I do this quite some time. in one client, this login-data, in the second client the other login-data (aka Alt account, in my case one is trade, the other SSF). It's like an office application with several instances.
Just do it! And keep it simple -
Things will become complicated by itself.

Standalone just open it twice it'll open 2 login screens. Never used steam so dont know how that works.
