Awakened poe trade (the tool people use to price check) has a hotkey button to type /hideout to teleport you to hideout so on logging in you press f5 and go straight to hideout. It doesn't spawn you in it but saves you walking to the wave point and clicking.

ah gotcha, thx for clarifying
I guess I could make my own hotkey too...but thats just a band aid solution. Not sure why GGG hasn't made it possible to spawn in the hideout, especially since certain players spend oodles of time decorating and personalizing it only to have it NOT technically be their home base.
