Documentation for Item filters
So, Neversink built some tools.
How did they do that? PoE must provide something. What is it and is it documented? |

PoE provides the filter, that's it. Neversink built custom tools in order to easily manipulate and build PoE filters in order to update his set of filters with ease.
You can check out his tool here, but that is also built in a custom language: https://github.com/NeverSinkDev/Filter-Precursors Nobody but Neversink will be able to help you with this, so you'd need to ask him, he seems pretty open to questions on his twitter here: https://twitter.com/NeverSinkDev and most likely his discord. You'd have to reach out to him. |

" As Mexeon said. There's another, these days less popular, tool called Filtration which also used it's own syntax. In a way it works like this: The source code of the filter contains all the $ & ## and what have you. This filter source code is then translated by Filterblade or Filtration to the standard PoE filter syntax. Have a read here: https://filterblast.xyz/item-filter-syntax.html Again, if you want to get into making filters, try filterblast.xyz. It's a nice tool where you can code your filter and directly check what it does. You can also paste advanced filters and figure out how they did stuff. Bird lover of Wraeclast
