what was the "best" league yet, in POE for you?

in my opinion, until yet.
it was "Legion League", the content was alright, but what the best part was, was that being a player felt "strong", everything felt smooth, skills were nice to play, damage felt nice range felt nice, movement speed felt nice, cycleon felt nice, mapping was nice, bossing was nice, in my opinion. what was your favorite league (not league content, rather """the patches it brang with it"""). 2018 was their peak imo. Incursion, Delve and Syndicate. Wow what an amazing and memorable year.

it was delirium, no question.
so many new builds fun and rewarding mapping mechanic fun and very rewarding simulacrum encounter. 1 node voices was such a good chase item and there was a lot of crafting to the point that alteration orbs were in such heavy demand everything about delirium just fits in. It was simple, fun, rewarding, game changing and challenging all rolled into one. I don't think really any other league has really come close to hitting so well on all those aspects. For my second choice, it would have to be Betrayal followed by Legion. |

Generally the base game gets better patch over patch (Expedition might be the only exception?) so I guess it means, for me, Kalandra is the best league yet.

Unltimatum,not because of the league mechanic itself,but because that league i played the most fun build ever(atleast for me) - Burning arrow elementalist. Man,imagine if GGG wasnt against fun,i would play this build forever and wont be tired.

Delve felt like a top tier idea implemented really well, still only of the only leagues I did 36+ challenges in.
Metamorph but not because of Metamorph. Metamorph launched with the best patch we've had I think there was loads of new things to do, new loot to get, new bosses and loads of builds worked. Then Ritual for similar reasons, the game state was superb and rituals were fun without being too invasive, mainly the game state though. Isolated from their patches I think Betrayal/Delve/Incursion with honourable mention to Delirium though I got very tired of the grey washout. |

Not officially a league, but I think I had the most fun in Darkshrines.
My real top 5 are (in no particular order): Breach, Legacy, Harbinger, Betrayal and Perandus. |
