Hard stuck at 0% xp (lvl 92)

Hey guys, I just played 2 hours on my Deadeye this morning and I actually lost xp. I started at +/- 15% (lvl 92) and I'm leaving 2 hours after at 0% :). I was doing only T13+ random maps alch and go.

I suck at the game so I got deleted by a boss / a very angry rare mob / completely mad monsters from expedition encounters.

So I figured out it would be better to not do expedition encounters or even bosses in order to get as much xp as possible without losing it, but I still got deleted by some rare monsters like 1 mob every 10 maps (-> which is enough to nullify the experience gained before dying).

And I'm not talking about the crashes during blight encounters where I can get killed after crashing (please GGG fix the turret crash thing it's VERY annoying).

So, do you guys have any advice for me about my xp situation ? I heard that delving was fine for xp but I'm not sure ...

Peace :)

I have been having similar experience. I get to 95 on at least three characters during a league for the last 3-4 years with no problem. Now I'm stuck at 93 on 1 and 90 on another. The best way to move forward if you really want to level is just run red maps no alch.
save 2-3 divines for 5way and that will get you to 97.

ive pushed my jugger halfway through 99, but its a pain - you have to know how to roll your maps, to be careful of explosions, degens, constantly dodging stuff... some crazy arch nemesis mob, be careful with essence, dont do pinacle bosses and so on. in short it was a pain so i resorted to 5way for my last 50%.

mind you im super tanky so if youre some snowflake and dont obliterate everything on sight, you`ll be stuck at lower nineties forever.
If all you want to do is level, don't roll your maps. Just run them blank. You literally get the same amount of xp but without all the nasty stuff.
Okay thanks for your advices guys I'll try to run some maps without alch tonight. I didn't know that using an alch on your map didn't give you more xp (I was thinking pack size = more monsters = more xp but I guess that's all).

Yeah my deadeye isn't tanky enough I know ... that's why I want to level up, to get more HP. :/
Depending on your build, you either have to get more defensive or run less dangerous content. For most of us, there is a breakpoint when your interval of dying is higher than the time you need for 10% Exp. You can either avoid very dangerous content (don't do bosses, don'T do delirious ghosted essences, or whatever is dangerous to you) and just grind exp on blue or carefully rolled yellow maps, or you get tankier and raise the breakpoint to a higher level.
I run Delve between 89-94 as a filler for levelling.

Yeah so as a result, I think running red maps without alch is a bad idea. I'm getting 90M xp/hour when I was getting 140M xp/hour while doing alch and go. + I'm getting 0 loot and maps are boring / too easy.

Only positive side is I'm not getting one shot anymore ... Oh wait, I just got a message from a random dude saying he wants to buy stuff from me, let me just take 1.5 second to add him and ... I'm dead. One shot. My whole screen was clear of any mob by the way.

So I'm getting randomly one-shot once every 20 maps instead of 10 maps (my bad there for adding the guy but still). But I get less xp/map done so in the end I still don't get xp.

Anyway I think I'm done for this league, GL all.
Err... alch vs. no alch should not result in that kind of xp/hr difference. Are you for some reason playing much slower on the blank maps? On a per whole map basis, the xp difference is nearly imperceptible.

If you are getting 1-shot on a blank map, there's a problem with your build. You should fix that before worrying about leveling.
If you are playing solo and don't have loads of div to pay for 5-way service, find a party member to catch bullets for you. For example I can carry you for free if you want, pm in game. Not through 5-way, but in pretty juiced content. I remember the pain of getting to 100 well, and still consider it one of the worst design points in PoE. Amount of times I have died to lag spikes alone is silly.
