Caustic Arrow bug

I found out that when using Caustic Arrow, chaos over time damage causes monsters to die without counting the character's own rarity or drop count!But Essence Drain can!

Someone knows?

If i use Caustic arrow and Essence Drain fight the same monster,Rarity and drop count both right!!
