Why atlas nodes "tampered roof" turns strongbox into corrupted?

And not just into rare instead? i never understood this shouldnt atlas passive give you positive things for your league mechanics? i droped my 3rd enlighten corrupted from strongbox and it sucks its useless instead of getting normal one and sell it for 2 divines what if you drop mageblood its corrupted 2 flask what if you were to drop good unique but since its corrupted it would turn into rare item why is the "corrupted" not removed from that node already?

First off, the node is called

TAMPER-PROOF

Tamper : interfere with (something) in order to cause damage or make unauthorized alterations.

you know what you *cant* do to a corrupt item? ALTER IT.


just dont take the node, and then you can use on your strongboxes.

but for those of us that dont want to carry that shit around, or bother going and getting it every time we find a box, we just get rare+corrupt (possibly 8 mod) strongboxes!
