Banned from TFT
I can't speak for TFT but from a service provider standpoint allowing you back may be considered a risk. TFT is based on a trust system and its only currency is reliability. Basically if they let you in again and you make the same mistake it's noy on you anymore, it's on them.
I am sorry, I honestly believe it was just a screw up but I doubt they will allow you in again. |

all the stuff about becoming friends afterward, returning the item in standard, yadda yadda, while nice, isnt relevant to the ban.
you were banned because you failed to provide the service you were offering, and failed to return the item. In the scope of TFT (trusted services), you are a liability. Simple as that. |

" Thats it... And thats all u got on TFT... If im not able to provide the service after at most some days i would just give the item back and provide him something for the failed service and his wasted time as exchange before the guy who trusted you starts feeling bad... Always think: "treat others the way you want to be treated" Thats how easy it is! imagine this happened to you... who would care having your league item back in standard? srly Its just deserved! |

TFT mods will literally ban you if they see you said anything bad about them ANYWHERE on the internet be it in discord or in some random game you playing or in random social platform

" Stop saying that it's not like that...He got the helm and currency on the league, nothing wrong about that...He gave back the helm and probably the currency on standard. Even though he made the helm literally useless cuz he returned it on the garbage mode that's not against the TOS. If he would have gave the helm on standard and currency on a new league to make up for the loss that would be against the TOS. Trust me, I tried to buy something on a league and tried to give currency on standard on a GLOBAL CHAT, and a GGG employee messaged me instantly that that is a TOS break and I should wait for the items to go to standard before I make the trade, even thought there were literally 2 days before league end. I didn't know so glad for that. So stop getting it out of context, it's only bannable if the helm was returned on standard and the currency on some other league, private league or whatever. Thanks guys, I just wanted to add the following, it may help understand the reasoning of why I even posted this in the first place. As I am not a fan of being considered someone of questionable moral reputation in a game built around trade.
1. We did not meet on TFT services, as I did not have a TFT account at the time, or used another TFT member as a third party dealer. We had met originally through PoE trade from myself selling fossils, in which we had some small talk about the game and our strategies on making currency for the league, that is when I said I was running lab and offered to run lab for his helmets (one of which I completed successfully and returned it to him, a very expensive helmet easily 50+ ex) The second one is the one that I failed to complete and did not give back until next league in standard. 2. I had very, very little knowledge on what TFT was, their rules, or even what TFT was used for. I only heard about it from some Grimro videos about how useful TFT is for bulk selling your stash tabs. However I didn't do enough serious game play that warranted any amount of bulk selling at the time, so I payed it no attention. 3. It was very difficult for him and I to connect at any reasonable time due to our schedules being so different, I only saw him on three times and each time I contacted him he was afk, after that I never saw him online again as I became incredibly busy during that time, and eventually never logged back in since I had lost interest in the league. To conclude, I realize my first post may have been an error now, as I didn't think the details above were important until reading some responses here. I'm fully in support of players being penalized for scamming/stealing or not fulfilling their promises, I just was wondering if there may be a different punishment for someone who did not intent malice behind their actions. I apologize for leaving the details above out of my first post as they may have been far more important than I first thought. |

" Nope, you were right in the first round. Those informations don´t change a single thing. " No matter how many services you fulfil correctly, it doesn´t change the fact that u basically took his item on the service you didn´t provide and failed to return it to him. " Not knowing doesn´t change the fact that rules are in place. It´s no ones fault you didn´t read them, and sorry to say - did you believe that just randomly stashing gear from others and not returning has NO CONSEQUENCES? I mean, that´s even more concerning to me that you actually need a rule that this is a sort of behaviour/management that is not wanted. " Once again, losing interest in the league yourself is your choice, but that doesn´t free you from the responsibility of having other peoples items in your stash. If it´s hard to connect, write him via forum, suggest a time. If that´s not possible there´s at least something to appeal your ban because you can prove you actually TRIED to give it back. You didn´t do that, you just didn´t care enough. So basically, nothing you´re trying to add here change anything. You scammed, mal-intent or not is not a variable people are interested in once their item is gone. Last edited by Vennto#1610 on Sep 14, 2022, 5:29:20 AM

" If you follow the series of events in the original post, the friend became a friend after the ban. And really, it was TFT that banned OP. I would guess all the friend (who was not a friend at the time) did was report it. EDIT: You're right, it does appear they were friends beforehand and that's a sketchy thing for a friend to do for sure. I stand corrected. Thanks for all the fish!
