A progression report & discussion on SSF casual.
The one thing for SSF is imho persistence. You can brute force every target. Don't do 2 maps of that, and then try a div card for half an hour without outcome. Set your next goal and commit to it. Don't expect it to happen on the fly. Farming time isn't wasted. The longer you farm for something like a 6 link div card, the more exp and gem levels you get, the more resources you pile up. Don't block everything that can benefit you in the long run. Some random delirium mirrors or abyss things might pile up useful stuff you don't need to farm in the future, even if you don't invest in it.
Set yourself achievable goals or steps and then go for it before you change to the next. Don't expect rare things to be common for you and get mad when it doesn't happen. Last edited by R3b00t#3591 on Sep 11, 2022, 11:17:14 AM

I think your title is from a wrong point of view. SSF is/was never meant to be "casual". The game as a whole is balanced around trade, that's really no secret. People asked for an SSF league to ensure a "pure" ladder for people wanting a more difficult game/progression. And if the "main game" isn't difficult enough, I don't think "casual" is the right word to use here.
Trade league(s) is the most casual you'll get in PoE. Everything else, is a step up in difficulty - and a step away from casual. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" Deliberately being pompous isn't constructive, you are responding to the wrong person providing a solution to something that wasn't a problem. Stick to the advice, leave the sniping its a forum by forum standards OP's "venting" barely reaches a 1. Last edited by Draegnarrr#2823 on Sep 11, 2022, 12:02:44 PM

I don't think I need any lesson in manners, especially from people who don't have any.
