"Unknown object type serialized by server"

Also getting the same Unknown Object Type error.
For what it's worth, I'm also located in Australia.

Now the game crashes to desktop when I attempt to load into other maps or campaign locations.
However, my alts appear unaffected and can load into maps fine.

I get the same issue with one only one Waypoint on a particular character also in Australia server.

Crashes every time I open map. Tried in a friends hideout, crashes there too. RIP Sirus fragments :(. US (Texas) server.

I am also getting this issue it happened to me after I made a new instance for blood aqueducts and now my character cant enter any zones in act 9. Tested on other characters its all fine except for the one that got the error. I got my friend to make an instance and I could join that instance but as soon as I make my own instance in act 9 the game crashes. Can't progress on the character at the moment...

Also getting this, been playin all day then eat some lunch and now when i try and get in maps it comes up with the unknown object error... wtf!! rip maps

Also starting getting this today.

Symptoms:
- Saw a brief error message the first time it crashed about an "unknown object error"
- Thereafter, crashing everytime I click into a Map Portal.
- Some quest locations work (e.g. Act 6 Southern Forest)
- Some quest locations also crash on load (e.g. Act 10 Ravaged Square)

I've tried the following with no success:
- Restarting PC
- Disabling all MTX
- Unequipping all items
- Clearing all cache files in %AppData%/Path of Exile
- Running PackCheck.exe (no sync issues)
- Changing graphics settings (Vulkan, DirectX 11)
- Running the 64-bit launcher vs. 32-bit launcher
- Killing my character to try to clear any weird character states

Nothing works :(

Same issue here. Received an error when trying to enter a corrupted area, now whenever I attempt to enter a map portal my game crashes to desktop.

Aus/Steam.

Same issue for me and my partner.
Two different desktop computers.
Both new characters started today. My first character / his second.
Both on Aus server.
Both playing via Steam.
Tried messing with graphics settings in gamed, changing to Vulcan, downloading new graphics drivers, restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling game.

Game loads and then consistently crashes out whenever we try to go via a waypoint or to another area from the one we're at. Got the server error message the first time and no error messages since, just keeps crashing.

We'd just started new games so he could show me the ropes of PoE, thought it may have been related to an item picked up or some such as we'd been playing together, but knowing it's happening to others helps a bit! Hopefully the game is back in working order soon.

I had the serial error a couple hours ago in the barracks and just now I got kicked out of the game and mow my account is temporarily locked while and admin is working on it or something...

Whats going on?

Still broken for me 6 hours later, anyone else still having this issue?
