dude. i play as much as any streamer. most likely more. streaming is a job for them... i dont work and only play. and yes on fully juiced t16s. and just because i toggle off those silly emblems you all show off doesnt meant i havent been here a LONG time.

and drops like that are NOT what the rest of us see. not. at. all.

Caught the liar. You know we can easily check how much you really play, right? It is not much, you don't play all the time.

Before you go accusing people, remember that league stats/challenges don't track standard playtime.

You are wrong. I can clearly see that this guy plays alot. Also you probably don't realize that some people delete their characters to free up the name when the league is over. I've done it myself many times because I don't care about standart. When I played hc back in the day I would delete and go again with Tha same name and same build for example. If people say that they play alot - I tend to believe them

what about the disconnect between streamer loot and player loot? there is something VERY fucky when one streamer can ex slam +2 minions right when he needs it, have a mirror and squire drop, and more.

i used to dismiss such things as confirmation bias/paranoia, but... good rng can only go so far.

Streamer priority is very good way to keep the “ false hope “ going for ppl

Iv been saying this since the fiasco of streamer login priority

Your strength is the law !!

Its not about characters and items - it is about challenges. This guy is definitely not mapping a lot. The only way he plays all the time is via Heist and guess what - Heist is very different from mapping and the two can't be compared. So when he talks like this he has no leg to stand on.
At first I thought you meant overall play time including past leagues. Do you mean current league challenges? Not many people care about them. I have many that are almost done, I just don't give a shit enough to finish them. Putting on uniques in each gear slot, rerolling tablets x amount of times, doing one of each kalandra encounters etc - it's not a play time metric, it's a "do I care about the league" metric. If you alc and go, do delve, farm pinnacle bosses, do deli maps only or in general don't do a whol variety of content - you wouldn't have that many acheivents.

100% i don't want the current league rewards, I'm sure plenty of people adore them and i honestly think they're amazing and i cant wait until a set that fits my style comes out.

I'd wish that people would stop leaning so hard on challenges as a measure of skill, Sure some high skill players rise above the rest and those challenges stick out but many of those players are also target-farming those things for personal achievement.

Plenty of people only engage with challenges when they want something specific, In betrayal i adored the league and only grinded for the helmet attachment since the aura did not interest me, Synthesis league just the same as i did not like the wings, in Scourage i only went for the wings and in Metamorph just the footprints and weapon effects.

Its really a dice roll lol

Complete maps with a total of 6,000 explicit modifiers.

This is the metric which is the best indicator of playtime outside of Heist. And his is very low for him to be playing all the time. Like I said, he might be spending 99% of his time doing Heist. This only means that he can't talk about loot dropped in maps.

You might be right, I didn't look at this specific challenge. But how much does he have to play to be able to talk about loot on maps? I know I played less then him and I have 0 raw divine drops. But I guess I can't talk about loot too. What about other people making countless topics in feedback about the lack of loot? What about people leaving negative reviews on steam? Some of them don't even speak English and don't know any popular streamers or don't know what reddit is. But the common complaint is - I have nothing to drop for me and I can't afford to upgrade my character.
He can say what he wants, but he definitely doesn't play all the time. I have over 4,000 and I don't play all the time, in fact I don't play that much at all. I am not disputing his experiences, I am disputing how he puts it

Well, people probably tend to overexaggerate when thay are angry and dissatisfied. The real metric of loot is that so many people argue on the forum and not playing. For many people it's their first time ever posting. Something must be really off-putting with the gemaplay loop to make players do that. And I feel the same. Last time I went here to post was during Blight league when performance issues were game breaking and the feedback section was full of that.
