Tainted jeweler orb / fusing rates?

What are the success rates of these items nowadays?

I heard jeweler orbs are like 50/50, but of the 80 I've used on a 29% quality armor, I think I've went up once maybe 3 times.

Are they worth it these days?

What's the best strategy to 6l a corrupted armor these now?

I heard craft to 4l then use orbs, repeat rinse.

the old '50/50' was from scourge league.

with current prices, you should still just bite the bullet and bench craft 6 sockets, 350 jewelers is basically nothing so the only cost is the 350 vaals.

but the odds of going from 5link to 6link with tainted fuses right now are rumored to be 1/10. forcing a 4 link, you have an unknown (hopefully higher than 1/10) to go to 5, and then the 10% to hit 6.

probably like, 1/4 x 1/10, for a 1/40 (highly speculative!!) to go 4-5-6

could be as bad as 1/100 tho.
