Expedition Monsters ignore Energy Shield without Chaos Damage - I am wearing Shavronnes Wrappings

Monsters from an Expedition Encounter in this map killed me in one shot, ignoring my Energy Shield completely. I died with Energy Shield on.



This character is wearing Shavronnes Wrappings, therefore I don't think there should be any kind of damage capable of ignoring my energy shield?

Expedition mobs can get a 20% (I think) culling. Are you reserving enough life to be below that?

As this fine gentleman pointed. there is a "Monster's kill things with 20% life or less on hit" modifier in Expedition that will oneshot you if you have less life than 20% and this includes reservations. I can only presume you are reserving your whole lifebar as low as you can go and therefor got killed.

Expedition specifically features multiple remnant affixes that entirely disable builds, because the player can pick and chose what remnants they want after assessing them, which would however require reading them :p

left life after reservation does not count as 100% ?

for example, I have 1000 hp, reserved 510 hp, 51% of total, so Im still in 100% with 490 hp, or not?
otherwise just simply reserving life u can get some good buffs with life reservation, f.e. adrenaline, cause u always would be in low life

If you are reserving life you are not at 100% life, so yes you can do things like get to Low Life with it.
