Viability of BM keystone in solo play

What do you guys think about the viability of the blood magic keystone in late game content, for a player who almost exclusively solos?
I'd like to be able to keep it in my build, so that I'm not forced to use a socket on a BM gem, but I can't think of anyway to offset the huge advantages I'd be passing up by not being able to run determination, purity, hatred, haste, etc. If I partied most of the time, I could rely on others to carry these auras, but I don't. Is there a way to make a BM build work without being severely gimped by the lack of auras? |

Very viable. And it supports a 6L. Just make sure to have lots of life nodes (duh) and take the auras that have static amounts--Grace, Wrath, Anger.

" No,not being able to use anything besides Anger/Wrath and Grace which also come at the cost of 300-400 life is a huge drawback. You used to be able to do it in closed beta (late game wise) but now not having Purity/Vitality/Determination/Hatred makes your life much harder especially if youre playing solo and dont have anyone to "share" their auras with you. I'm going a Low Life Dualist right now who has 500 str at level 36 so far and I'm using Springleaf and RedBeak. Which gives me a tooooooon of HP regen. So BM is pretty good for him.

" this. I´m currently leveling a bm-melee (true close range)-duelist and it turns out to be the strongest char i ever made. But it`s much more gear dependand than any other build i created. -no purity : you need much more resis on gear/the skill tree -no determination: you need alot more armor/flasks with the right suffix/skilltree -no hatred/haste : significant loss of dps which got to be compansated elsewhere But you can still run grace, anger, wrath + reduced mana reserved without suffering much. I play way to much and as such got quite some crafting-mats and gear (uniques and godly rares) around, without my gear-pool i wouldn`t even think bout leveling pure bm-melee, ranged could perhaps work at higher levelmaps. But you gotta keep in mind: You want a build that can handle most negative rolls on maps: -elemental weakness -vulnerability -enfeebelment -more monster dps etc. |

" really dude? lol As for OP, yes it's very viable. i'm playing BM LA ranger, and used to play groundslam BM marauder before that[lvl 78]. My ranger is almost lvl 86, i have near 11k armor, running 2 lvl20auras and 1 lvl 19, reserve 379life only. my dps is really high and i have no issues whatsoever, i'm quite happy with BM and have no issues at all with life, i can spam any spell/skill with high attackspeed [2.5-3aps depending on frezny charges] and never worry about life going down. |
