" Details: 1. The Spirit Offering Skill (40% crit multi from level 21 gem) 2. Fearsome Force (60% crit multi) 3. One mod on Convoking wand (38% crit multi) Lets add it all up: 40% + 60% + 38% = 138% crit multi Compare that to what we already had (and still have): 148% critical damage support 50% assassin mark 50% kingmaker Realistically critical multi is at best half as effective as before, yet they offer us more investment, this leaves top builds with all investment with 75% of the power they had. So conclusion: GGG tries to grant us increased gear investment to improve minions, yet they took an entire meal and offer us a single side to make up for it. Where we need critical multi: Rings (at least up to T4 crit multi) Shields (straight up to T1) From my point of view this is negligence from GGG to not even mention why other minion specific items cannot roll the entire pool of mods. Chris said minion builds capped out at a 7 before and now they would be a 10 with investment. I'm wondering where all those 10/10 minion builds are with the "buffs"....

Are you even talking about the same thing you are quoting? Chris is talking about the crit chance reduction from the changes to power charges, while you mention crit multi. If anything, we have more crit multi now than before, but crit chance needs some investment.

Don't forget unique jewels. Up to 30% from Amanamu's Gaze and its req's. Then there's the new Grand Spectrum minion crit multi variant, with up to 90% if running 3 of them.
Crit multi for minions seems fine? *shrug* I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

" Amanamu's Gaze is crit multi for damage over time... 3 grand spectrum to each build just to still see a knock in damage. It is still not where it was. Remember to use every item in the toolbelt for an entire archetype with max T1 rolls does not make sense. The truth is this is a nerf. Chris said minion builds would be better with investment, but that is disingenuous. Either admit it is a nerf or make changes to match the intentions you had. |

Yep, totally forgot Amanamu's was DoT multi and not crit multi...been too long since I actually looked at mine haha. But still, over 200% of new crit multi available for minions is pretty substantial. Do you have to make some new investments and adapt to some things to be able to maximize it? Sure, and there's nothing about the notes that indicates otherwise.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
