Challenge "Complete at least 5 Abysses in a single map" cant be completed.

I tried it 3 times already.
with Winged abyss scarab(+3) and mapdevice enchant(+2).

seems not to work for me :/

I have tried GLided Scrab (+2), map device (+2), sextant (+1) and max it spawns is 4 abysses. Help

I just have the same issue, map with implicit + scarab + map device + sextant.... It spawned 5 abysses and I didn't get the challenge

Same here, had t16 map with 2 additional abysses, I took all the nodes from the atlas tree + scarab + bench craft.

Completed all of them and opened the chests, it was total 7 or 8 abysses and couldn't complete the challenge.

GGG please help, this is pain in SSF.

We did a map today, adding 5 abysses (2 on map implicit, scarab, map device), it even said that it contained 5 abysses in the map.. There was only 4 from what we could tell, and no challenge progress progress, we even fully cleared the map.

I found the solution!

Atlas passive node that exclude Abyss (Loved by the Sun) make this bug.
Just remove this passive and complete 5 Abysses (Even Depths counts)

GGG did similar bug before)

I completed this one today. Here's what I did in case it helps:

1) Blocked all content on atlas tree except for the Abyss one (to prevent too many spawning and crowding out).

2) Used Winged Abyss + Map Device for 5 abyss total.

3) Did Dunes map because it is a wide open layout.

4) Clear the entire map but don't touch the abysses.

5) Creep up on each abyss making sure to clear it all the way to the end AND open the chest before I trip the next one. (I've heard people who do 2 at once because of how close they spawn to each other end up failing it).

was using sextant + gilded scarab + map device mod. also bugged, but I think I touched two of them at the same time. will check once more without that

UPD: yep, looks like two abysses at the same time causes this. had success with the same setup (sextant + scarab + map device). just complete your abyss, open the chest and only after this touch the new one. also, I had one depth, skipped it, and got completion
