Crafting int stacking ele wand

Was wondering if it would be worth crafting this wand further, and how I should maybe go about doing so?

It's got the lightning damage to attacks per int, but also has a t1 ele damage on prefix. It has an empty suffix, so I could craft can't change prefixes and scour to have those good mods saved.

The only alternative would be to try find a good synth base with lightning damage to attacks. But the only imbued wand is like 30div. Can't really afford that, but could get a 1.3aps wand, but not sure if its worth considering what I have now.

Thoughts?

First of all get a backup wand before crafting since you're using it right now. You don't want to end up with nothing.

I wouldn't directly craft onto the wand since the % ele damage isn't that great compared to other possible modifiers. However, you can use it and combine it via awakener orb with a spell damage per int elder mod and pray for a good 3rd prefix and/or an open suffix.

Something like this:


You can then prefix cannot + veiled chaos for the prefix and finish with multimod.



The unveil can be 14% ele penetration, spell damage + non-chaos as extra chaos or % lightning damage.

So I've ended up with these two wands. I'm guessing the play would be to just craft cannot change prefixes on the first wand, and then scour and apply multimod?

Or else I could maybe try annul a suffix off the second mod and proceed with the method you described earlier.

The first wand looks pretty nice and I'd proceed with that one. What you do with it depends on your builds needs and your budget.

Some options:

1. You can leave it as is or replace crit multi with attackspeed+str+int.

2. Prefix cannot => scour => multimod => attackspeed+str+int, crit to increase your base crit chance.
(Only do this if you're desperate for those ~10% extra local crit)


3. Prefix cannot => reforge crit/speed for high multi or high attackspeed => benchcraft something of your liking.

4. Prefix cannot => veiled chaos => benchcraft block increased damage per charge => unveil crit+stats or attackspeed+stats => benchcraft something of your liking.

It all depends if you can cap your crit chance and if you need more attack speed for the content you're doing.

The second wand is somewhat in a bad spot but you can: annul, bestiary suffix to prefix or harvest add and remove.
I'd probably sell it as is or use bestiary suffix to prefix since an undesirable 3rd prefix isn't as bad as removing one of the int stacking modifiers.
