Loot sucks for solo/duo. Perception for lake of Kalandra and minions.
Since mister Wilson likes to talk about PERCEPTION here is my perception of the loot and lake of kalandra and minions.
Map completion 109/115 1. Loot sucks it feels bad it feels useless and it feels like i am not getting anywhere with it. 2. Lake of Kalandra is boring it feels like useless map that has no function with even worse loot unless you hit jackpot with that mirror garbage 3. Some fun gameplay activities is having problems with loot still (opening blight cysts with absolute nothing inside feels bad: Same goes with unique chests and special chests) 4. Minions are way squishy (have lost now 4 AG's to random Mobs/minibosses and i literally cannot give it more durability without going stupid with its gear). So what did i enjoy this league? Playing with my friend while leveling talking ♥♥♥♥ and politics like we do every league but nothing about this league has been especially fun or engaging mechanics or gameplay wise. So lets open the 4 points bit more shall we. 1. Loot sucks. So why do i say loot sucks? Well to me loot in Poe has allways scaled up with difficulty of the content (map tiers example) but now no matter how hard content i do and die while doing it does not matter the loot seems to be the same as it was at White/yellow maps as it is at T16 maps. Since i did not want to believe how bad it is is i did run 10 T16 maps all alched all having between 75 - 150% quantity on em and total tally loot wise was 5 chaos, 6 alchemy, over 300 armor scraps, over 200 weapon scraps and 2 vaal i have never had that bad loot while running maps back to back. Worst of all i did not even get enough T16 maps back to sustain running the maps (had to buy more maps) SO loot is not fine not even close. (i seem to get more garbage loot than before and not enough quality loot) 2. To me Lake of Kalandra is boring it is like more boring version of map with even worse loot. (have not run it much since i dont like it) so i have nothing much to say about it. 3. Some Fun Gameplay activities are Bugged or overlooked when it comes to loot. So good example is Blight there is now multiple Cysts that are completely empty containing nothing and no it is not my filter even after disabling filter these reward cysts are completely empty 1/4th of the time. Same kind of thing also has happened with multiple chests even unique chests. 4. Minions are way too squishy. Skeletons are joke now. AG is liability and spectres seem to die randomly. So i have lost multiple AG's in this league where last league and league before that my AG has survived even most hellish of conditions. I have tried to give more health more resistances more everything to the AG even took more nodes to make it more survivable but no. it seems that certain mobs just destroy your AG in less than a second if they feel like it. (AG with over 50k life with 6k regen and maxed resistances including chaos is not enough) I did read you were supposed to make minions better late game that is not true my minion builds were stronger last league and league before that..... (i play lot of minions) SO here is my rant about this league and loot hopefully someone at GGG will read my perception of this league. (Loot should be divided more evenly to all mobs not just loot goblins maybe then even I get currency items and maps) TL.DR: Loot sucks tested and verified, Blight cysts and chests in general seem to have problem with loot, Lake of Kalandra league mechanic is boring, Minions are borked on late game and some minions are unusable now. My AG and spectres are immortal. So idk, can you unprivate your minion build so we can see whats going on? What content did they die to as well? You havent done much of the league just based on your challenges alone.

" U have 5% of minion health recovered on minion death and your srs. To op the 5% health recover on minion death is very good, some people will link summon phantasm support linked to AG and specter. " Skele mages had the exact same setup last league. You took the minion defense mastery for keeping your spectres/AG/and Zombos alive. SRS has nothing to do with what the OP is struggling with. OP is having an issue that would have been the exact same issue as last league had they not taken minion defense mastery. But we dont even know what the OP has taken because private account. GGG have left permanent minions in a shit state. Summon skeles last league is the exact same thing as srs this league.
Hence why i suggest he takes summon phantasm on a non dps permanent minion. Certainly, would help if they made their characters non private. |

" Same for me, I had to run t15 and delve to get from 94 to 95. I did the 2 easy voidstones after 95 though... hopefully that was the problem. One of the best things I experienced in the last weeks was simple and easy sustain of t16 maps in standard. I could lvl my char to my hearts content, with the only barrier being deaths. I really hope its not gone with the changes. I really didn't like how stingy the game was with high tier maps before (2-3 years ago) and I thought they had finally fixed that. “We are the race of flesh, We are the race of lovers.”

OK i think i made my character public now (did not even know it was private) the current setup is just latest version. Been testing it a while in this league (used lots of regrets to give minions more and less survivability nodes and seemed to have little to 0 difference so this is the current one.

" SRS is spammed and they are dieing constantly. Great for other minion health. Those of us that use permanent minions don’t get that benefit since we don’t want our minions to die. And are not using the spell, err minion, SRS. And, sorry, no it is not the same as last league. Losing 2 gem levels in ascendency and changes on gems directly not only lowered dps (mine went down by 59%), but also greatly affected surviveability. I lost an AG that was fully geared out to a freaking yellow mob - it died instantly along with my zombies and specters. Had that AG for a very long time - several leagues at least. " I made a build based off of Ghazzy's Chains of Command AW guide, scraping up what little currency I've made so far this league to set up a low-budget build. Gems, passives, gear and stats all according to what was mentioned in PoB. AG was using Belly of the Beast, Leer Cast, Inextricable Fate, Wasp Nest, and some random white kite shield I bought off a vendor since no shields were mentioned in PoB. Build guide for reference, use low-budget PoB. Build did just fine until I ran a yellow map I did alch&go on. First expedition encounter just straight up tears apart the AG. And because I've made next to no currency at all so far and spent what little I had to get my build up and running, I can't afford to replace the items lost so now the build is non-functional. I want to make it clear that it wasn't me dying. My defenses are more than adequate enough for the tiers of maps I was running. I, apparently, can't say the same for the AG despite following the guide to the letter. I don't know how anyone's making any serious bank this league on account of everything being both difficult to kill on top of diminished loot. And just because you're wealthy enough to make a build that can do better, it doesn't mean everyone else's experiences are the same. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
