Whats the deal with convoking wands?

I get like 5 drop in every map...did all the good loot get replaced by these wands by accident?

Could be your loot filter as well tagging the base even in white/magic form instead of rare only like most.

I suspect this is the case since minion builds are extremely popular one would gear their filter towards those popular items. (neversink here)

This is just trolling from game about minion nonviability.

if you're using neversink you can edit the filter to not show these unless they are rare.

i searched for "Convoking" until i found "Show # %D3 $type->normalcraft->rest $tier->t1"

and simply put a # in front of Show (#Show) that'l get rid of most of the wands unless they're rare.

Best to learn to modify these filters urself, when im playing the game semi-seriously i will still use neversink but i'll edit a lot of custom stuff in.

i know i can edit the filer, i was just wondering why there is so many of them. if its intentional or not

Hard to say without knowing their drop algorithms. At the very least, the convoking wand type was probably given "baseline" rarity instead of "atlas basetype" rarity so it should be more common.

Check your loot filter. It is likely you've got it filtering other types of wands but allowing that type of wand.

no lol. i asked in chat and others are having it drop often as well so its not just me

Part of it is the default loot filter settings. They seem to get worse each league.

The other part is, if you recall in a recent patch they said item types would more often drop as their highest base type. Well, guess what the highest base type for wand is...

Replace drop sound with

"Ah you touch my tralala... my ding ding wand." (rock)
