Fortify support not working with boneshatter - new info

I'm on ps5. Fortify support gem is not supporting boneshatter correctly. There's no buff icon or aura around the character upon skill use. The skill tool tip also does not show the little "o" icon that normally designates fortify support.

If I put fortify on leap slam I get fortification stacks as usual. The skill icon shows the "o" icon to designate fortify is supporting the skill.

If I spec the fort mastery that gives "melee hits fortify" boneshatter is giving me the buff icons as expected.

Is this a visual bug or is fortify support gem broken with boneshatter right now?
