Elemental Weakness in labyrinth from fonts is actually increasing your resistances

I wanted to check if I still have capped resistances in eternal labyrinth while being cursed by elemental weakness from fonts in boss room and to my surprise my resistances go UP instead of down. I don't think it is intended, I am not aware of any passive/item that would cause that
