Alt Key not displaying Advanced Mod Descriptions

I've spent the last couple of days finding a fix for this, but posts about changes to mod descriptions for items on the ground keep popping up instead. Pressing my the Alt key on my keyboard doesn't do anything at all in POE. I've done a test outside of POE and the Alt key is definitely working, and it's worked in past leagues/patches. I'm at my wits end trying to find a solution, has anyone else had this problem and found a fix?

Finally figured it out, for some reason highlight was set to another key by default.
