Why Path of Exile Streamers are potentially Leaving POE potentially forever - VIDEO

It doesn't matter if a streamer gets 1000 people to play when those 1000 people all play the same exact build and the items they are listing are only for that build.

I don't think streamers should get any special treatment from GGG or even attention unless they are doing:

- Player Education (not build dumping) actually teaching people about the game and that making a build is not actually as much of a nightmare as everyone makes it out to be, but if people never try they'll never know (stream secured?) cant let those people read! the'll revolt!.

- Economy building (you're popular as fu**) at least try not to screw the economy with all that influence? encourage more build diversity so people aren't pigeonholed or outright blocked by the suddenly immensely expensive item you influenced.

- No Hate Mongering (the streamers who talk smack on casuals) do not need to be in this game at all they are toxic actors trying to get paid for bad behavior.

If there are streamers out there fulfilling the above then i wish you luck and an exciting journey but to the rest who are just leeching off this wonderful game please go play CoD or something more your speed... This is a hardcore ARPG not pokemon snap.

Actually without those streamers that gave me an insight of a complex mechanism, crafting, building of the game I would have quick after killing Kitava and never enter the Atlas. My first run was, I don't understand anything what is going on and found those streamers who encourage me to made a new build and found that this game is a blast.

Might i inquire what streamers were helpful in your journey?

ZiggyD ceartainly helped me a few times with his videos explaining league mechanics and his loot filter was the first one i ever used and kept using it until he stopped maintaining it which got me into modifying my own loot filters.

+1 on that post, the game isn't as hard to learn as it's made out to be as well. It's also about the games longevity. I see it as GGG working on long standing serious problems for the games longevity like:

- Clearing entire screens instantly isn't good/engaging gameplay.
- Having zero interesting monsters or encounters due to above.
- Itemization has been really bad state for a long time. Needing a third party filter to screen out 90% of items on screen isn't a good thing.
- Having the entire game revolve around clear speed and timers is bad. Feeds into point 1, AN drop rewards is a big step in the right direction. They can be further developed and improved to provide more than one way to play the game in future.
- Dropped items / rares "you never pick up they are completely useless" is a huge detrimental problem to the game. This can be further worked on but not with the present drop rates and itemization that the game currently has.
- the league mechanics need to be balanced with regards to each ones power-level, otherwise its pointless having them.

This are issues of the game itself. Clearing the screen was never a problem, even for casual players. Maybe the game was originally designed in that way, to create this satisfactory mass murder. Then, you encounter a boss who instead kills the player six times in a row. Some bosses are well designed and the player can learn their pattern. Others, they just throw lava from the sky that fills the entire screen...
Instead of hordes of mobs, they can move the game into lesser monsters but more interesting skills and force the player to play more strategically.

Regarding the loot, why if I am level 70 I still see the same rag clothes for low level players? Also most players need some specific mods or equipment to make their build. Why are rare items with low tier mods, when at least I already crafting tier 3 or 1 mods?

Make less loot of objects, but more meaningful with high tier mods. There is a high probability that it is equipment my character can't use, but that can trade. And DON't LOWER the RATE OF THE CURRENCY, it will complete break the economy.
Half of these streamers complaining about less loot have mage bloods and head hunters 3 days in..

Good riddance, whats fun about 15 people flooding 90% of items into the game and the rest having to grind chaos recipe to buy those items off them?

can you think beyond 'streamers have all the gear' for a second?

what happens when those 15 people 'flooding' the market dont find items (and neither do you, because the loot nerf affects you too)

now those items *JUST DONT EXIST*

grind chaos recipe all you want, you cant buy what isnt there!

**IF** this loot nerf to 'juiced maps' also came with a global loot buff for 'casual content' (alch n go maps, delving, temples, etc) THEN we could actually say thanks for distributing the wealth a little bit. but as it stands, *EVERYONE* got loot nerfed, and the people pulling in extreme wealth got nerfed INTO ACTUAL ZERO RETURN ON INVESTMENT.

its a deathblow. look at the market right now. There are 10 magebloods, 10 headhunters, 6 squires for sale right now. AND YOU HAVE TO COMPETE WITH THE ENTIRE LEAGUE TO BUY ONE.
Oh please, all the streamers are already rocking magebloods and prices are already dropping on most t1 items.
You just said it, 10 of the rarest item in the game up for SALE not in use, THREE DAYS into the league.. i am sure we will be fine.

There drops are NOT acceptable!

Well, flat loot drops like from chests in heist, legion, expedition, etc are fine. They removed the historic loot bonus from league mobs that were in the thousands and are now 200-300%

If you ever ran a 100% deli bug map with legacy MF and compared it from last patch to this patch you would see that there is a massive difference that concludes to it not being worth to juice your maps at all except alch&go with expedition, blight, legion or whatever league mechanic that has chests and flat hardcoded drops.

Regardless, hats off that you're still playing sweep and still making antagonizing posts. Atleast you're consistent
