Moderators have a lot of work today, but there is reason for it.
I do enjoy the league, but i also understand that people are little angered about the changes that were not in manifesto.(90% to 100% loot reduction in some places) and other stuff.


I'm just waiting for stash sale to give them money, so i can p2w item flipping because playing is not good way to earn anything in this patch, maybe in heist...

It's like when the wealthy end("wealthy" in PoE-terms, mind you) starts having issues, people now have to be interested.

From all i know you can't even have an opinion on this forum. Just leaving this aside.

The content of this game is already messed up. The only actual human being, who mentions that is cohhcarnage. If you can look at "The Doctor"-Divination Card and not have any issues with it and still manage to start crying like a baby over literally nothing, then something is wrong with you.

You can't even talk like a normal guy here. If you say something is wrong with the game, people turn it around and say something is wrong with you. And you really expect anybody to have pity for your ridiculous issues ? You just need to take a look at people's stashes and you can immediately see, that everything is perfectly fine.

The only people, that are going to see any "issues" are the ones, who are playing the game in a way, which is out of reach for any of the masses.

While most of the issues can in fact be pushed aside like we're just complaining, since otherwise would PoE still be PoE anymore ?, i recall seeing a remark from last league i think, where somebody mentioned, that standard-league builds were no longer playable. And i think this is solid proof, that something is no longer okay. But people don't care. Why would anybody care about anything here. It's just some upset people, who are turning videogames into something, that they are not supposed to be, which pollutes rankings and trivializes the ordinary player's efforts.

I personally stopped this league after seeing my bramblejack with alleged 1000% reflect do like 5-10% hp of dmg on something after finally obtaining it. And the way to obtain it was dumb and boring. This game has always been that. And now it floods into other games, because these people have been giving advice. But can i blame them ? No, because money rules the world, and that's how games are made.

But anyway, have you ever looked at the item filters page ? It is full of this "social media"-crap with how many "followers" people have. And everybody defaults to the stupid "neversink"-filter so much, that i even bothered to try it out and it wasn't worth my time.

You really think anybody will care what some rich top people have to say ? lol

This forum is like dodgeball, where as soon as somebody steps in, people have to be like "oh no, we just kidding".

But back to being less "negative". Like for real, the game is perfectly playable. I can also testify, that there can be genuine experiences, where if you go down one path you could end up feeling horrible and on another "build" or path you might get such a good experience, that the build is even worth sharing.

And i also saw nothing wrong with the drops in this league from act 1. Yeah if you're some "meta"-shit player, then i'm probably not even writing any intelligible sentences to you. But who the hell cares. And who is complaining about chris wilson ? That's the nicest guy in the world. Sure, there are ups and downs and dark roads, but most of the time you can tell by a person's way of talking, behaving and their face whether or not they are okay.

You are all just making a fuss, nothing more. Ever tryed any of those "top ranking" builds on the forums ? Ever wonder why they got so many replies ? Ever even question how the internet even works ? To this day search engines work via garbage. You cannot even submit your own site without agreeing to a data-stalking service and making an account. And the way, that the richest company in the world, google works, has been condemned as "pyramid scheming" after the US initially embraced it with open arms and even gave people solid jobs in that branch. Just so that nobody any longer knows what is going on.

I don't care what people do. These people are not regular players. And PoE ppl have always said, that this game is not for the average player. It's for the 1%. And as funny as i find the 1% getting upset, i honestly see nothing wrong here. The game is perfectly playable. If you find it fun to dissect it via PoB and poeninja just to play it like an ordinary game. And if you find it fun seeing ugly zombies all day long.

People, that recommended this game originally are about as dumb as the people, who compare Lisa with undertale, where undertale is like a beating heart and lisa is like that heart penetrated by 10 spears. Or people, who compare smallville with blue mountain state.

Online Games have taken a wrong turn and it is not the kind of wrong turn, that every guy selling their videos on the internet is trying to get people to think, although occasionally there are some accurate statements. But PoE is nothing more than that 1 thing to substitute that, which has gone missing in these games. I tryed FF14 and while it is a superb game, MMO-wise i can smell right off-the-bat, when they are baiting me with a fishing rod attached to my back. There is no power-creep, because people balance things around that. And they do that because communities view that as a solution, as opposed to properly overpowering each class in their own unique way. And that's how games should've been.

In a classic RPG you don't have that. You just either follow the story or you take your time to be super strong. And if people cannot deliver this, then i'm nothing but a witness following along, fully aware of how it's supposed to be.

I would like to see or read through some complaints, that resemble those i saw last league. I don't think there are going to be any, but checking the thread titles reminded me of my initial complaints. Which came when i very first tryed this game. Of course these will still land on deaf ears. But that is the core of a game.

In this game you get the "idea" of customization. But it is not there!!! There is a gem called "Multiple Projectiles Support". Okay. So this SHOULD multiply your projectiles, but without side-effects. But there are side-effects. But not only that. You also have to RELY on support gems JUST to make due. Okay. So far, so good. Then you have to understand how damage works. What is additive(same bonuses like skill tree) and what is multiplicative(a cheap dumb "gimmick" via skill gems and "auras"). These systems are already for idiots. Yeah. No intelligent man should put up with this. However, i wouldn't be surprised if the intelligence of some people here is 3 or 4-fold of my own, since they can still successfully navigate all the way even to end-game. And around this "gimmick" people continue to put up with this. I don't know how many people have been ignorant of this or how many mentions have been put aside just so people can continue to live in this illusion of choice. The game is utter trash! It doesn't even offer the "choice" it promises! The only thing, that i ever talked good about were stash tabs and i always would. Coming from a p2w background and being a p2w-enthusiast(given, that the p2w is limited to an ordinary person's spare ice-cream-money and not the kind of literal trash-people, that pollutes these mmos), nothing comes close to the satisfaction of these stash tab limitations and lifting those limitations through them. It's great. Of course you don't have to be like that. You don't have to appreciate the good aspects of your partner. You can view them as "requirements" instead, thereby ruining the whole world. Or in this case, saying the game is p2w, to some extent. Do what you want. Be dumb as you want. Rule free! It's not like any of the small voices are gonna change that anyway.

So, as a new player, this would be my main issue. That 1.) the game is designed around HAVING to have skill gems and 2.) Those skill-gems have drawbacks.

These are both no-go's, because that way gems don't really allow for customization. This kind of stuff is from before i even had a grasp on the game. So i am at this point probably at about 10% of the intelligence when compared to people, who can still navigate all the way to end-game. Yeah, it might be dumb to navigate yourself into a maze just to come out victoriously, but it's no small feat. It's definitely a matter of INT.

And then we have DEFENSES. This game doesn't give an F about caring for player's defenses. Not even touching the different types, layers, and the effectiveness of each. Just as a first step it's a game's responsibility to gear the player properly according to where he is at inside of the game. How he is progressing. Also don't dare to compare this to industry-standard crap. This is my personal thought. If you don't equip a player by default, then now we have PoE. Where everybody has to scratch their head about every ****ing BS. It also makes it possible for some people to come with brilliant solutions, which is kinda cool, but that doesn't really fix the game. But that's fine. PoE doesn't want to be fixed. And i'm cool with that. I'm actually kinda done here anyway. Really only looking for anything exciting worth checking back for. GAMEPLAY VALUE ONLY. If you think i want anything to do with the kind of trash actual zombie-like content in this game, absolutely wrong. I don't intrinsically hate it, but i'm a normal guy. Seeing this crap all day is not nice. And the morals in this game are MESSED UP. I studied most of the things just to be able to navigate myself through the kinda way this game trys to BS at you. You know, every now and then the normal guy may get attached to NPC-dialogue or the-like. Big mistake. That's just a trap to lure you into some BS content. The moment they had that 1 art contest i REALLY understood just how much intention and how little(zero) accident there is in the making of any 1 art. And from watching markiplier back in the day before his thumbnails started looking like hostile diarrhea i know fully well, that what makes a good "horror" game is building the atmosphere or other nuances like that. But this ? This is comparable to the dumb shit called "Horror movies", where a shark eats everybody and you see blood everywhere. Just more like 24/7. Although not everything looks like that. But that's what these people are about. And if the kind of people, that play this game have a complaint, then it is nothing but pure drama. With zero value in it. With nothing behind it.

Btw, why don't you try to promote your own idea of an item filter ? Just do it on your own, without relying on trash society, which is the equivalent of cheating. Or try an easier challenge. Just this one. Just TRY to find a good item filter in the huge mess of filters. That you don't choose based on popularity. And that matches your taste. This stuff is ignored on the side. All the while the "popular" idiots remain "popular". I watched neversink's stream. I see nothing wrong with this guy. Why do i have to like his filter ? And why does it have to rank this high ? Just because everybody defaults to it like a dumb idiot ? What about ziggyd ? Isn't it enough, that i appreciate his streams ? Why do i have to be confronted with this "Zizaran" everytime ? If i wanted to watch pewdiepie i would watch pewdiepie and not markiplier. I know this is about people and not the game, but rhykker's princible of catering something good to a small audience vs. catering something mediocre to a large audience applies here as well. It's all about TARGET AUDIENCE.

The game is perfectly playable. Just go and have fun. If you can't tell, i'm not being sarcastic. The issues, that i mentioned are the ones, that when spoken of people figuratively punch us in the face on the forums for. This is the game, that people wanted. And although the ones complaining probably treat this game more like work than an actual game, they are the only ones QQ-ing. To quote the first ever people, who corrupted the world of MMOs with the presence of rude people, "less QQ, more pewpew".

And also, you all aren't very respectful of the developers' intent, nor of what they are made of. Firstly, i cannot know about the details of your issues, but (if anybody even reads to here) maybe you can make the cross-reference in your mind, if it applies. Last time chris wilson said, that they wanted an elite to be powerful. I see nothing wrong with that. Sure, last league there were explosions and stuff, but w.e. The game itself isn't that much different. For the ordinary man, who doesn't even get that far anymore, everything is actually pretty fine. Last time i restricted myself to T1 maps and i still got bored. You would think, that i should, but that's not what i mean. Because that way i could farm with less frustration. Everytime i was able to buy an upgrade it was a 20% difference max. This is the kinda BS, that i meant. When people speak of items highly, they are actually insignificant. What would i do with 20% ? That's the kinda stuff, that you would farm in Standard league, if you had the nerves to sit your entire life through that. lol. Just to be shiny for no reason at all.

And regarding what GGG is made of. If you look at some of their occasional recruitment posts, they regularly state, that they want people, who have countless hours of in-game playtime, which equates to years of playing the game. This means, that everybody over there is probably a badass. Or, in other words, they are one of you!

And then there was the news, that elites don't drop any items. Again it doesn't really matter to me. In a proper MMO there are occasionally no drops from larger bosses, that take way longer than 3 minutes. I just don't understand how this makes any sense. Clearly, you are able to make it this far into the game, which i honestly cannot, with or without build guide. And yet, after making it through that, dodging a bullet here and there in real-time, not in slow-mo like in matrix, you have an issue over nothing ? The only way, that this makes sense to me is if you are one of those people, who exploit or use certain end-game mechanics to make an unreasonable amount of money. The amount of drops, that i got as a beginner are more than enough to farm myself up. Of course it's better if you have fun on the way there, but anybody complaining about that has been ignored to death. Now it's just you left, and for some reason, your complaints.

And also if you question whether i'm okay or not in my head, i think that is perfectly fine. You know, i too, would think, that i should be EASILY able to handle at least 80% of the mapping content, at the very least. And yeah, most of the time i used to be 1 step ahead intellectually in MMOs. Could still be the case. And i can't give you an explanation for the disparity or discrepancy(w.e of these bizarre word is appropriate here) between me and others, who make it through the game in a buttery-smooth way even without any remarkable cleverness. So if you want to attribute that to something not being right with me, i'm okay with it. For this very reason, or a similar one, i specifically said, that i testify, that a guy going down 2 different roads or builds can have a completely different gameplay experience.

I remember 1 or 2 leagues ago the guy named "brunowa", the author of some necromancer thread, was talking things on the forum. Without all this many views and replies. And i like that. His tips weren't bad, although some were misconfigured for me. But people SHOULD be down-to-earth. They shouldn't even have the right to basically float in the sky with so many replies, that come out of who knows where, that nobody can even read them. Let alone the fairness of getting a thread seen.

As genuine as these people are, they should just high-five GGG like "hey look, i got this guy to write a post" as if promoting. That's probably for the best. And if they feel the desperate need to leave(oh no how terrible), maybe whoever is left here can ask the dust about improving the game, since pretty much everybody has been disgruntled to leave. And what else can you argue, when somebody responds with "then PoE won't be PoE". This dumb forum has the idea of leaving everything unchanged, yet the very idea of a forum is to debate in order to make changes. And i'm not talking about the dumb people using the term "change" for RL matters. I mean literally planning changes to improve the game. But if you land in this place, and you can see a positive difference when compared to other games, what can you really argue against a mentality like this ? Fine, be that way, you know. You don't understand how RNG works. If a developer makes drop rate changes, you don't have a right to complain to them that you didn't get what you want. Investment also has risk. That doesn't guarantee a return, lol.
