If you watch Kripp's corpse explosion video, that was the pinnacle of PoE. Dock farming, loot timers, etc. Now it's a zoom zoom doomer fest.

I remember that at that time the game was a joke and was played by no one, I remember that they didn't add 10k and I see that currently is the course of the game, in 4 days it has already lost more than 40% of the league base. the game changed for an obvious reason the game was rubbish, DS is based on a 3d reflex environment with few enemies per screen something that is boring to be quite honest that's why it's not the kind of game you want to play over and over again times. Arps are games where you move with the click of the mouse, focused on grinding and repetition where one (or a group) of adventurers faces a real army of enemies quickly and with enough variants to make each race different from the previous and so we can do dozens (hundreds) of the same map without getting tired.

It's hilarious you think "the dark souls of ARPGs" was ever said in a positive connotation. That's what people said when they were complaining about the game, and what people say is the direction the game is heading when the devs do stupid **** like in this update.

It's like saying Diablo 3 is the Counter Strike of ARPGs.

These are fundamentally different genres and the comparison is negative, implying the game is doing something wrong.
