Gatekeepers are ruining the game.

Just highlighting the point and it comes mostly from streamers and content makers. At this point, I don't think a normal player has much influence on GGG anymore.

It's just very clear those people want other players to stop playing the game and never come back.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your post but you seem to be saying streamers and Youtubers are ruining the game? Far from it, they are all like wtf is this crap. Some of em are shaking their heads and quitting.
The "gate keepers" are the white knights all " this is fine" at these horrific changes....1/4 of the loot we had before, IF THAT. I'm still waiting for rewarding AN mobs. I have yet to find even a single one, and I'm in red maps.

The streamers are actually right about pretty much everything they say.
Some of them are the most positive content creators you will ever find.
That they are quitting this league early on is absolutely understandable and also an absolute evidence of GGG´s incapacity.
Look, theese people put a lot of time and effort into running a channel, the lot of them are talented, highly intelligent individuals (unlike people here calling them out for putting their fingers into the wound, trying to make it better).

They are the once that endorsed PoE for a very long time. They are the ones that drive the community, not the few here talking bad about them for what they do. These people do nothing but point their fingers without really knowing what is going on.
Unlike a lot like you they actually do understand the whole game, not just a tiny fraction of it. And with this understanding they know this league is not going anywhere. Quitting is just the logical consequence. As far as I understood many of them just quit the league and hope for a better one in 3 month or so.

It´s not whining what they do (I read that on the forum already today).
They are clearly dissapointed about the detrimental changes to the game and fully understand the connected consequences and leaving the game because it´s no fun anymore.

what are gatekeepers ? The people at borders, asking for you to state who you are and what you are doing in their country ? Confuse.

It's a combo of things. You have streamers who make a living playing a game that they probably don't like anymore, but play because they get money and views.
You have the general POE populace burnt out with all these POE 2 delays. I remember hearing 2020 was gonna be POE 2 back in the day. We still waiting on a beta for it and we gonna have to wait til 2023 for the beta.

The game was bloated for a long time. Before they added that Atlas passive tree, there were legit too many leagues stacked on top of each other.

Is this the greatest league of all time? No. Is this as bad as synthesis league? NO. Is it lukewarm? Ya, sure. But is the anger and resentment from the streamers legit? No, not imho. This league also somewhat crippled TFT which is a discord that pretty much puts the game into SUPER EASY mode.

These people know the game better than anyone. They are the ones who spend years playing this game and know every single aspect and maths behind. [Removed by Support]
