Harvest changes destroyed crafting. Now crafting is just RNG with no depth at all.

They want to kill harvest bring it in line with other crafting, fine. But as it has been stated keep pref/suff was integral to any planned crafting. I personally do not enjoy just pressing slot machine more times. I loved the crafting complexity, going from sentinel to this is outright brutal, i have no plan for my hcssf now. Maybe some people will enjoy this, i sure won't.

Harvest gave poor players a chance to actually craft something through their own efforts, to turn trash they pick up into a treasure. Then GGG gutted it and devolved it into yet another means of gambling away your time and resources just like everything else. And just like everything else, it's yet another mechanic only the wealthy players can exploit.

3.13 was, is, and always will be, the peak of PoE. Everything past that point is just a slow spiral downwards.

They really don't want us playing the game anymore.

No, they don't.

According to somewhat unreliable source:

Sentinel had just barely lower numbers of steam players after a whole month than we have 2 days after the league launch.

Sentinel: 64k after a month
Kalandra: 76k after a weekend

This is devastating. And if not for the challenges, I wouldn't be playing either.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.
As a SSF player, I loved harvest in the previous league as it gave me so many exciting options and a 5-link with just the right socket colors in mid-to-late yellow maps. It was soul-soothing just to stop in the garden and theorycraft with all that crap in my inventory.

I was not prepared for the total massacre that left this mechanic feeling empty, clunky and soulless, especially after spending ~200 fusings and not a single 5-link so far on my 6socket 20qual base.

What a shame.
