Can exerted attacks can be ranged? Or melee ranged?

Hey
Just wondering if exerted attacks can be ranged, or must be melee? If so, what happens if I use frost blades? Will the projectiles also count as an exerted attack? Will they benifit from the warcry's effects? Thank you! Last bumped on Aug 23, 2022, 1:47:57 AM

My understanding is that it requires a melee portion to exert. So if you whack something with lightning strike then your attack is exerted and works on projectiles where it would make sense to work.
