Who are the good PoE build/content creators?
Here's a list. It is a subjective list. I added some details based on my experience as a viewer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- PathOfMatth - shines in friendly guides with incredible detail fit for newer players that are looking for a build that reaches far in the end game at the most comfortable price. Has mid+-tier guides as well. Usually ends up in the highest tier of trade league. TheRealJamesHumphry - very effective, solid builds that are a good balance of offense / defense and simple to make. TriPolarBear - solid selection of builds, of which some are slightly more edgy, still beginner friendly. Jungroan - strong builds, allows a bit more risk and comes up with builds that are a bit uncommon but work. Zizaran - allrounder, creator of the gauntlet, usually promotes builds that will do very well in softcore and hardcore. Has made many good generic guides on the side. Ghazzy - the overlord of minion builds. KobeBlackMamba - berserker claw master, not for beginners, focusses on far going endgame (stackers / aura / etc.). Maximum DPS. Gimro - master of the endgame speedfarm, not for beginners. DSLily - strong builds, incredible player, has many full playthroughs from start to endgame to learn from. Don't underestimate the effect of her skill when going with one of her builds, as in your mileage may vary. For intermediate and (way) up. Alkaizer - the melee king. He must be the streamer GGG looks at to see how melee is doing to decide how to buff cleave. SirGog - streams a lot of PoE related material, he often brings insight as to what is going on in poe lately. BigDucks - mix of strong builds and currency making strategies. ThisIsBadger - creator of BPL league, hasn't posted build guides this league but usually does. TarkeCat - host of Bayclast, decent starter builds, has a nice cat. Sometimes advices someone's girlfriend a build that doesn't work (j/k) CaptainLance9 - nice builds, goes into whacky build niches sometimes. BalorMage - relaxed farm juice-maps-to-max kind of playstyle. Jaamon - pushes a variety of builds to very high deeps. Intermediate+ guides. Lighty - incredible SSF player, can somehow make anything work. He's a grinding PoE encyclopedia. Palsteron - solid beginner friendly guides. SlipperyJim - well you just got to go and have a look. Fun stream. Does things per thousand. ZiggyD - from the Q&A with Chris Wilson, used to make guides but not so much lately. Various PoE videos, also streams other games. Mathil - should be nerfed but still hasn't been. Most diverse build streamer on the block. Can't play a build without affecting the market. Woolfio - Craziest whacky builds of them all, some don't work, as intended. SpicySushi - Fargoing endgame crafts including guides. TytyKiller - One of the best racers, mostly streams race content. He does his homework. Phoenix - verious builds/guides, diverse content. Omisid - diverse content, mostly based on what his viewers ask for. Splashes in a mean build guide now and then. The British Exile - diverse content, made some build guides that aren't broadly known and work surprisingly well. Intermediate and up. EmpyrianGaming - min-maxed group farming at first, then goes off and usually creates a very fast build and explains in detail how that build works. For the advanced and up. Ends with craziest projects that might crash a server. CatmasterOP - mostly hardcore builds, host of FatedConnections. Very structured, has worthwhile niche PoE information. MbExtreme - some starter friendly guides, mostly very advanced builds that may require mirrors in worth. Imexile - racing content. Wins gauntlets. Ben - racing and uber content. Competes with Imexile. Magefist - mix of fast builds, not all builds may work for you. May post builds that require only uniques and do well. Still, not for beginners. FastAF - mix of fast builds, good source of various affordable ways to increase your speed. Not all builds may work for you. SOMAYD - solid content, but hasn't posted that much of late. Some honorable mentions: RaizQT (went LostArk) and Nugiyen (looks like he's no longer posting on his YT account). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I might edit stuff if I forgot someone. edit: Quin69 Did you try turning it off and on again? I'm gonna have to side with jungroan who says that "builds that can't do uber content on day 2 of the season shouldn't be posted". That kinda knocks out alot of build creators.
So all you really end up having is playing the economy, and plowing maps. And if you want to get anywhere on your character, you are better off mowing monsters down like weeds and just collecting pennies of the ground as fast as possible than any meaningful item hunting.

For me it is path of math, but do not play his starters.
There is also 1 more that i will not mention to not make the starter gear expensive for me, it will be the best build of this league unless we get last-second nerfs. |
