![]() The new Cord Belt should be able to be synthesized after anointing to give us a better end game belt option. |

Intelligence now inherently grants 1% increased Maximum Energy Shield per 10 Intelligence (previously per 5 Intelligence).
Introduced Exceptional Support Gems, a new and improved version of Awakened Support Gems, which are being phased out. There are over 40 Exceptional Support Gems, which can be found in the Endgame. Added the new Reliquarian Ascendancy Class for the Scion. Notable Passive Skills for the Reliquarian borrow from the powers of Unique items found throughout Wraeclast, and will change with each League. For this reason, these Notables will not be available as outcomes for the Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh Unique Jewels. Reliquarian seems to work same way as Scavenger form Phrecia, but with powers from league to league changing set of uniques? So depends if it has Obliteration this league or not. Probably not since we just had Phrexia. Exceptional gems read like they are more powerful (or more specialised) versions of Awakened gems, so maybe little bit of power there. ES from int sounds bigger than what it is. Looking PoB, 3200int 18000ES would end up loosing 2000ES. Little bit weaker, but at that point it doesn't really matter. Also little bit less damage from Tranquility. | |
" What in gods name were you doing to only loose 2k ES? Chucking the modifier "1% reduced Maximum Energy Shield per 10 Intelligence" into the config of the endgame PoB makes it go from 20.3k ES to 12.5k ES.... In other words, loosing almost 40% of your eHP. That is absolutely massive. Yes, 12.5k is still somewhat workable but it hits a LOT every step of the way. There's NO way a 3.2k Int build only looses 2k out of 18k ES, or 11% of it's max. You're effectively "gaining" a "320% decreased maximum Energy Shield" modifier with that change. EDIT: Unless there's some massive power for Icestorm in the exceptional gems, WI might be proper dead for most purposes except a very late-game transition into it, the build already isn't exactly tanky early on especially to phys. The new Belt option sounds great, but it'll be very expensive to make, there's 65 different belt synth implicits according to poedb, and they are likely weighted and not in %int's favour. Even if you cut those in half by using low ilvl belts (which are unlikely to exist given that it's a map-only base) that's still very expensive. The nerf hits WI harder than any other Intstacker, because we stack Int higher than any other build, as we do not need - or want, for that matter - any other secondary stats and Icestorm really doesn't scale with anything except int.
