Not clever enough, they kinda forgot to check what items do minion builds actually use (unsocketed rings etc) and made unwanted socketless bases.
And the minion shields are all overshadowed by aegis aurora for they did not nerf it. But I guess pure glass-cannon version can have some use out of the new bases.


On positive side, some dmg scaling got buffed for golems. So yes quite a few ppl will do golemancer. I find that to be bad Lstarter because you need 15 divine orbs of unique jewels and it does not get comfortable untill you do.

Correct play would be something like poison occultist and then respec to golems after farming maps for a quate a bit. (or play the flipping game)

I had one of highest end golem builds in 3 different leagues and it still felt like playing with my hands tied behind my back, but lets see what will people come up with. My standards are very high after playing so many high-end speed farmers with headhunter, it will be more than fine for most people especially beginners.

Epheral edge and rathpith globe (not in the same build) can get really bonkers and might become meta because you can scale damage from a defensive stat. Both most likley need high investment but you can make epheral edge work with mediocre investment too.

I expect to see at least some rathpith + crown of eyes wanders on the ladder.
Epheral edge ignite with slams might be really good too. You just need to find a way to get some attack speed without sacrificing to much.

Marohi Erqi with Battlemage could be a bit memey but good too.

PoM's Eye of Winter Miner inquisitor. Getting loads of hype and he's released some really good showcase videos prior to the league start. Doing 60% deli on 5link and day 2-3 gear. Doing uber uber elder/shaper on a low end budget in standard. I think people are going to flock to this build. If i hadn't played a trapper/miner 4 leagues in a row, I'd be trying it. but I need a change of pace. So I'm doing Venom Gyre Deadeye.

Pretty much the same ones we've seen for the past four leagues.

Lightning Conduit Elementalist is being pushed as meta so that's what I'm going to try. Cast Storm Brand with max shock effect, continually cast Lightning Conduit, profit? It might be terrible if the skill is clunk...

My proof is that Skeletons got nerfed to the ground and Golems got buffed. You dont need to have PHD to know where this is sgoing.

PoB looks fine for skeletons
