A 30ex Build to kill uber bosses?
" Yes, it is. 30ex can get u to kill pretty much the entire game, but not uber bosses - they have 70% generic damage reduction, and, thats at least my understanding of the game, you´re not supposed to beat them with a budget that people farm on the starting weekend. |

30ex is enough to dps crutch the ubers too, honestly you should be able to do everything with 30ex if you aren't just trying to brute force the content instead of learning it.
Always wonder about these types of threads as its like it depends on how good of a player you are, there are plenty that can't do them with 300 and plenty that could manage with 3 (on a restricted build list) |

Whether you can beat them probably depends more on you than on the build you pick. With 30-40 EX you won't get anywhere near the level of DPS where you can just skip the fights, no matter the build. I doubt it's even going to be enough to suicide rush your way through. You'll have to deal with their mechanics and overcome them for a decent amount of time.
That being said, i'd go for a build with solid defenses and easy DPS uptime that allows you to focus on dodging. Means totems, brands, minions, something along those lines. |

" I played skeleton mages, you'll brick 5 of 6 fights if not all with ubers on a mere 30 ex budget, also all of the equipment been very expensive, even if you craft it by yourself, only helm will be 20ex+, every wand is at least 10ex+ etc, if you go with shield so half decent shield will be at least 5 ex. It was one of the most expensive builds out there in those respective leagues. Friend played seismic traps, the problem was the damage, with low budget comes low damage, and also low survivability. For a normal bosses to be comfortable with he invested at least 50 ex. And yes 30 ex is really so little, it is for a very new player at max 2 days (15h) of farming expeditions for example and they are far not the best profit out there. " I would joke about people on internet forums saying only their expectations are right and anyone who disagrees has wrong expectations, but honestly thats kinda the way the whole world acts so I guess its just normal. I would say if you can manage everything very well, Maw of Mischief might have the highest dps on that budget. However, QoL is low, and the skill mechanics could make uber fights even harder (are your minions up, are they in the right place, do you have time to channel?). So, unless you are super comfortable with that playstyle, agree that ballista totems give you the best chance. |
