Diablo is trying to be like new generation games like Lost ark while Poe is trying to be like a 20+ year old game.

How exactly and which Diablo are we talking about? PoE originally took inspiration from Diablo 2 and wanted to be its spiritual successor which it kinda is. As to D3 it's day and night. Diablo 3 tries to cater to the the casual player. Meanwhile PoE despite being hard in its essence tries to become even harder, because apparently it's still too easy and casual for the vets.
