Flicker Strike and "While Stationary"
I know this has been discussed before, and I've reviewed several previous discussions, and am seeing conflicting information.
I've read several times that the Arctic Armour phys damage reduction works with Flicker Strike (that you are considered stationary), and yet I found this post about the Soul of Tukohama by Mark_GGG saying that you aren't stationary while flickering (each teleport is a move)? Now maybe this is out of date, or maybe people are wrong about Arctic Armour, or maybe Arctic Armour's "while stationary" is somehow considered different than Tukohama's "while stationary"? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1952961 To quote Mark_GGG: " So yeah... unless this mechanic has changed (and the Mark_GGG quote is no longer accurate), then I don't see how Flicker Strike can work with Arctic Armour's "while stationary" buff. Thoughts? Clarifications? What am I missing? Last edited by rapind#7028 on Aug 12, 2022, 12:56:58 PM Last bumped on Aug 12, 2022, 1:49:08 PM

The difference lies in the point that Tukohamas Soul has a buildup for the effect (while stationary gain every second) that gets interrupted by the "move" a flicker is still counted as and so cannot... build up.
Arctic armours "while stationary" is just a condition that cant be interrupted in the case of flickerstrike cause you "dont move", or better: the move is instant. At least thats how i understand it... "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

OK I see. So the 2% life regen from Tukohama would happen, but the DR wouldn't because you're teleporting again before the first second even passes. Makes sense to me, thanks.
