3.19 Manifesto - Honest Feedback
" This is what I'm getting at, and what I think that GGG should be targeting. The small number of players that are breaking the game are not doing it with minions. |

" 50% to 80%? I mean most of the people that play PoE are unable to make/adjust (good) builds on their own, and yea, if you leave it like it has been before the nerfs/changes, 50-80% might be true. Otherwise i call hyperbole. Oh and btw, the "1%" will always find/utilize ways to break the game... if you think a game like PoE could be balanced so that 90% of its players would be on par (at the top) you are sorely mistaken, besides it not being intended (btw, 90% of players probably dont give a fuck what the 1% does). Might help to try that for once :) ). But yea, this is ending in the neverending circle of pointless discussions which this forum has enough of already, so i bow out. Have fun in next league (or dont, i dont care :P). "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

" Straight up. If that was the argument, Seismic traps/ Righteous fire, etc. would have gotten the axe. I can agree with Mage skellies and DD. That was a given, and that would have been good balancing. AG/Specters/Golems and all the rest was already just supports for other skills. Not useable on their own. Now you can forget about specters, as they are too tedious to summon the whole time. Golems you can still use with elementalist that auto replace them....and some other niche instances. So that's 90% of summoner builds that was hit hard, when only 2 specific ones is anywhere near the top on PoE Ninja's dominating builds. "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. " Thats just not correct. Not even close unless you are stuck in a minion meta thats severely outdated. - Chain of Commands AG builds are superfun, cheap and strong. Didnt get nerfed, potentially buffed if you can work poison into the build. - Stone/Carrion Golems were very strong and are still strong. Flame Golems might be strong now - Zombies / Spectres are still viable unless you expect to simply summon them and be done with it. The way you keep those alive is by investing into the Decay Ward wheel for 30% atk/spell block plus a Fortress Covenant jewel for another 12% atk/spell block and stack Bone Offering on top. Now they are atk/spell block capped, thats 75% less dmg taken plus they will recover 2% life on block and constantly trigger the 4% life regen from Bone Offering. You dont need much more than that to make sure those minion wont die all the time. - SRS got a serious buff and is likely the goto leveling skill with or without Minion Instability - Absolution is still very strong as it has been for multiple leagues now etc etc tl;dr: Minions are fine and will dominate just like they always do. |

Except Zombies (cant stand the noise) I used all those minions in past 4-5 leagues. They are fine as long as you build properly around them
