Why is the squire so expensive?

seriously? as far as i know only 2 popular build even uses it. spiders and lightning strike.

at least with mageblood,HH,omni almost every build can use it,so more people will but these items

just because you cant "target farm" something with cards doesnt mean the price should be this high.

"stasis prison" is also super expensive and nobody even uses it.

if you're a seller wouldnt you rather make some money than no money at all?

This seems to imply that you do, in fact, know why it's expensive and are just advocating for it to be more accessible.

The market doesn't always make sense, least of all in this game, but the two mentioned uniques are quite powerful. Personally I find squire a bit overhyped and stasis prison a bit underhyped.

not really. people who buy this have to choose between 2 builds,thats bad enough, the price shouldnt be so bad as well. its a limited market who want this shield so a lot of them wont sell at all,so why not sell it for cheaper? less money in your pocket is better than none

The market does adjust over time. Sellers who want to actually move things will lower prices over time until they sell; buying up the inventory and price fixing shenanigans aside.

The prices in the market probably are reflective of what people are paying for them.

Cold conversion blade vortex and lightning wander are two more popular squire builds but there are plenty of options since there are no limiting modifiers like a specific element on the squire.

The squire isn't really the expensive part of those builds either. That's why you rarely would find a build guide for squire builds.

Well considering that you need to complete hundreds of flawless 5ways to get one, kinda makes sense for Stasis to be expensive. And it also makes you almost immortal.

i wanted to try it with spiders since that build is cheap besides the squire. i could afford one now but its the end of the league so...i guess i could skip next league and play with it in standard

You can play arakaali's fang stuff just fine without the squire. Sure, it's more damage but it's absolutely not a requirement.

yeah i know all it does is more dmg...this is another reason why i dont see why its so expensive. its not like its a build enabling unique. you can get more dmg much cheaper ways

becuz its god tier item?
