85% of skills are AOE right? Which RPG has 80%+ of only aoe skills? None, only POE?

POE has too much enemy density? Then go play a different game.

This game is unique for having high baseline density that can be "juiced" up to barely playable levels if you decide to do it. I can't recall any other ARPG that does this.
Just look at Mathil Builds. Ususally his Melee Skills revolve around making those skills less melee and more aoe...

Basic point if View: You can get hit in any form? You can get fucked up in an instant by mops without knowing why.
Bigger question is - why other games have so fewer enemies packed together compared to PoE and why their player numbers are so low compared to PoE?

Ye I like the Acts, the story atmosphere is better than d3, the loot is better than d3, the action for pve is better than LA, the skill tree is better than most mmorpg's, the forum reply'ers are nearly philosophers, the stats are semi smart, the builds are semi smart, & leagues are as entertaining as re-rolling a new alt on a fresh WoW vanilla server which I did 30 times over from 2006 to 2010. So leagues are fine. Also leagues give me a time for r/l stuff if I want to skip a league or only main 1 char per league. What else? voice acting is good. Um Chris sounds like he likes his game more than most devs & he sounds smart & interviews mmorpg streamers that I respect. What else. Um the art department is sweet. Non P2W. Lots of skills, even tho I want more. Effect link gems A+ feature. Tho ye mainly the art, loot, acts, & skill tree. Are the reason I play. Also parties.

As for other positive statements, I've already stated I enjoy POE more than the present list of mmorpgs, as the mmorpg expert. So not trying to sound like I'm bashing POE, just a uber fan, wanting more detailed suggestions for a better game. Even if they are blunt suggestions or mmo related. Oh well theirs no other mmo's & your mmo suggestion for me; if so would be below average. POE & PS2 is all there is right now. That's the positive.

Still want better features, so positive post prior to this, won't dissuade me from other features.

Also I've heard 30 people complain about the AOE clutter on the screen, why don't you mention those people, I'm sure they are POE fans. They don't value screen clutter. So being a poe fan, doesn't make you instantly like everything POE is presenting. Lots of people don't like the AOE screen clutter, they literally say they can't see a thing & that poe has the most screen clutter of any rpg. So parden me if I ask for less aoe skills & more 1vs1 situation uses.

I don't know how they'd tailor it. Also lots of games have aoe mobs, I get poe has more, tho lots of games have the mage, running to a field, to aoe farm mobs. Doesn't mean the game has to completely ignore 1vs1 skills, just because aoe density exists. Tho I suppose to each their own.

Oh well. I suppose this is just a aoe game then. Aoe is ok verse mobs, tho AOE verse bosses is a huge design flaw. HACK & SLASH, isn't a room clear. Isn't ness a mapp clear. It's hack & slash. lol. I don't even believe POE has a hack & slash skill that's popular. Cyclone isn't hack & slash, more like press 1 button to spin. Theirs no follow up slash to the hack. So where's the hack & slash? Action? More like spell & spam, instead of hack & slash. As melee isn't even the devs priority, range is.

So ye AOE is still gonna make boss fights lackluster, you just spam the boss with aoe, till he die? So ye mobs make sense for aoe, bosses do not.

P.s. Even if POE is better than most mmo's. Still gonna ask for things.

The only thing I'd ask for that's game related & not out of the box. Is more story acts or a bigger skill tree. Or a better town. As POE already has Acts Towns & Skill trees. Yet 1) People argue over me wanting endgame story acts instead of maps. 2) New players find the skill tree too daunting & I want it 30 points bigger already. 3) Endgame towns aren't active or important.

If there were skill gems that could always only hit 1 target at a time no one would play it. plain and simple. Its super slow grinding with a single target ability, its a waste of your time as a player to play like that.
