Lord of the dead anoint not working

I anointed my gloves with lord of the dead, which is supposed to enable an extra zombie and skele, but am not able to raise a additional zombie or skelle after adding it. Anyone know why this would be the case?

I am assuming this is a legacy passive no longer on the tree since I can't find it on the tree? In any case I checked this before hand to make sure I wouldn't be doubling up.
The closest passive I have is death attunement.

lord of the dead is right in the middle of the witch passive tree, just above their first life cluster

unhide your characters, im betting you pathed right through it without even realizing it.

Ah yes, found it. Was right in line with the white circle around dead reckoning gem, so didn't stand out on search.
