Request: please hide login details

No game I know, and I think I know quite a lot, does hide the mailadress, because you need to know if that is your account which you try to login.
Just use a gmail account, use the authenicator and you are safe.
Even IF someone ever should get your password, he would still need your smartphone to access the account.
Also taking sick long passwords solve account stealing too. Because most bruteforcetools skip an account after 12 - 14 chars of passwordlength. Also use a different password for both. Bam you are done.

Combine that with the "PoE only mailadress" due to spam and you are totally safe.
They will never hide the mailadress because of the stated point.

As it's true that we also need to see what our email adress is, we could simply add something like, when we click on the email email bar, we see our email adress.

yeah so hiding the email address like in the example picture isn't a good idea as you need to be aware of which account you're logging in to. Having the Email Address not be shown when "Remember Me" check box is not ticked is probably the best approach.
