Can't kill Maven in SSF. Any tips?

I'm mainly playing SSF and am missing the 4th voidstone - Maven's. I've tried it, multiple times, and while my damage isn't high, I can slowly burn her/the brain down. The problem is the memory game. No survivability helps against that, and I'm just not able to do it. I'm aware of the browser mini game to train it, but to no improvement. Short term memory was always a big problem for me.

Any tips? I need her boots.

There are a few ways to do the memory games but i think they really boil down to numbering the zones or doing the clockwise/anti clockwise method depending on how you prefer to remember.

So you've got 1 2 3 and you'll remember like 2,3,1,2,3,1 or you can write them down even if you are fast - splitting them up into 2 sets of 3 can help too if you struggle to remember a 6 digit code sometimes 2 3's is much easier.

The clockwise/anti clockwise is very similar but all you do is think about which direction you are going in and when you reverse, some people take naturally to this one others prefer the first.

My only advice is don't panic, sit there and visualise it when shes giving you the challenge and remember you can get it wrong but still complete it if your decisive instead of flustered. Also prioritise, its far easier to recover from tapping a laser than it is to recover from being 1 shot so do your best to ignore the lasers but its not the end of the world if you touch one.

DPS helps too, shorter you make the fight less it matters that you can do it or not.
Stupid advice but... do more damage. More damage means less memory games. You may sacrifice some defences for more dps. And try to not mess up with damaging puddles. Or at least try to do your best to not die before last phase. My first successfull run was exaclty like this. Just did perfectly everything then corpse runned last phase. But yes, you will hate her a lot if you don't have enough dps.

^ That really isn't stupid advice its honestly how most players deal with content they struggle with, they themselves get slightly better and they improve their character simultaneously and the two meet together to produce a kill.

Great DPS is the easiest way to do any fight
I personally like to say the memory game positions out loud with a bit of a rhythm to it just to force my brain to focus on it.
