Quick question about beast splitting

I know each item gets half the mods; what I'm wondering is if the prefixes/suffixes are considered separately or if it's all one pool.

In other words, say I have an item with 2 prefixes and 1 suffix; is it possible to get 2 prefixes on one item and 1 suffix on the other? Or is a prefix guaranteed to be on both?


This can be important if splitting to isolate mods, especially if annuls are risky and/or expensive. (damn those eldritch annuls costing 25c each....)

Right, thanks. I ran out of FPAs on standard to test, and never got that result, but I only had 2 and that was not a good sample size.
