POE Official VS Steam which one have lower RAM Usage ?

Anyone know which version of POE run better ?

This game become unplayable after the latest patch loading takes too long

it's the same client. why should it be different?

it's just the steam framework you additionally have to run in one case.

Ye get rid of the steam app. Steam takes memory. Or at least run steam lite.

Also I'd suggest a system reset to run POE better. Like once per year reset your laptop or pc.

I took my pc to geek squad after I went from 60 fps to 20 fps. Or 90 to 30 fps. Wrote Geek Squad 20 paragaphs. Wrote these forums 20 paragraphs. Trying to improve fps online made my fps worst. Nvidia settings tried them all, make things worst or not better.

Solution? Nobody had the solution. Factory reset was my solution that nobody suggested. Everyones fps suggestions have more to do with nvidia settings. Nope. Factory reset was the answer.

So ye POE requires a factory reset for some peoples pc's or laptops once per year at least. If not twice.

After the reset my fps went from 30 fps to 120 fps. No other settings did that & I had steam lite too.

Since then my fps prob dropped from 120 to 80 I'm due for another reset. Last reset was Sept 2021.

Anyways, just know all the fps guides may make your fps worst. & all the forum reply'ers don't know how to make fps better with guides. & Geek Squad doesn't know how to improve fps either. & they won't suggest factory reset as that takes time to load & you lose unsaved folders. Tho it's the only solution.

Not even updating your graphics drivers & all that. Still would favor a reset over all these other suggestions. & ye no other game has made me reset just to run it good. That's poe for ye. Fine now tho. No graphic slow models loading. No more frame spikes. 120 fps yay.

Loading times do seem to have increased after the latest patch. If you have your game installed on an SSD or an M.2, it shouldn't really be a problem. I don't think load times are very different from the Steam version to the stand-alone client. And as load times seem to be quite a bit longer now, I'm fairly sure they will do something about it.

If you notice any difference between standalone version and steam version, then I don't know what you're doing. I have both, I've played for years with both and there's no difference at all. Use whichever you want, the game is the same. You can turn off the steam overlay if that is causing issues for some reason, but personally never noticed it.

yeah, loading times doubled for me but that is a felt increase.

some instances take 7 to 9 secomds to load while before they did load in 4 to 5.

when you load a instance, the wheels on the loading time stop turning for a moment, that's the time it usually finished loading before.
