How do I view map/area mods in PC controller mode?

As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a way to view mods for an area I'm in. The normal list/dropdown on the right side of the screen is just missing. I went line by line through the options tabs one last time before coming here, and can't find any info except one old post regarding a checkbox on xbox.

I've also tried flipping back to m/kb and toggling the button to make the list visible, then go back to controller mode and it's still gone. This is a particular problem in areas that generate the mods only after entering, like Synth maps.

Help? Am I just repeatedly missing something in options?

So, I now have the opposite problem. I ran some maps earlier today, still without mods showing (I always have the full map up, which is toggled with d-pad down). After a short break from the game and restart, mods are now suddenly showing up, taking up a huge part of the screen, and still nothing to be found in options to toggle the list.

I've never had mods showing since starting to use the controller last league, now they suddenly show up the day after I post about it and I can't hide them. Given the already huge amount of screen space lost to the controller mode interface, we need to be able to quickly and independently show/hide the list just like in m/kb mode.

So, I don't know if there was a bug fix today or if I'm still missing something, but I guess now I have to flip my question around: how do I hide the mods pane without minimizing the map? I went line by line through options again since the change, and still find nothing.
