Infinite Cooldown on all skills?
I was mapping, and despite the map only having 44% cooldown recovery reduction, I was only able to use each of my abilities once before they would permanently go on cooldown. This was right before the 3.18.1 update, so I wasn't able to get a ton of footage, but here's what I've got (with some discussion from the TFT folks who tried to have me use anything to fix it).
https://youtu.be/oAWgntQdniM Abilities work fine in the hideout, as you can see in the video, but in that map, I was simply unable to use any of my abilities more than once (except Anomalous Icicle Mines). This, for obvious reasons, made the map incompletable, as I could not detonate my mines more than once. Last bumped on Jun 14, 2022, 9:50:20 PM

I pay attention to my altars, and did not take an altar with that modifier. My only altar was -cold resist, -lightning resist, and chance for enemies to drop shocked ground. I pay very close attention to my altars SPECIFICALLY because of that mod.

Was the chance for shocked ground for monsters to drop on death instead of hitting you?
There's two versions of the mod, one for players and one for monsters that are quite similar. Pretty odd that you'd get it randomly; the only other sources of reduced CDR is from the archnemesis mod and the map mod, but one is less and one is reduced so they normally won't make your skills infinite CDR. Additionally, I see your flame dash didn't go on an infinite cooldown either (assuming you used it), but this would most likely be due to badge of the brotherhood counteracting the reduced CDR with the increased CDR per frenzy charge it gives. Also, that ring gives you aspect of the cat which gives you the charges because of farrul's fur. It would be nice if GGG added some kinda Expedition-like thing that told you what eldritch altars were affecting the map though, here's to hoping for 3.19. Mechanic Misconception:
Are your minions "randomly dying"? Do you have the Fleshcrafter unique equipped? If you answered "Yes" to both of these, high chance is that your minions have over 50% chaos resistance, converting 100% of their HP into ES, killing them. |

" I don't think the "on death" one is a player modifier, unless I'm wrong. After discussing with a few people, I believe it might be some sort of issue with what altar mod it displayed? I had used Flame Dash, that is a good observation. And yeah, I actually always have the Aspect of the Cat from my hat on, since it has socketed Reduced Duration. Ring just got finished before my new hat did. I would also like to be able to see what altar mods I have after the fact because I have no way to proof check this, and I just want to know what happened. Who knows if they'll ever do it, but it'd be nice for situations like this. |
