Militant Faith Question

I socketed Militant Faith into my tree and it changed Overcharge into Frenzied Faith. The poe build guide I'm following shows that Overcharge remains unchanged with their jewel. Both my jewel and the one in the pob have the High Templar Dominus mod but different number of new faithful converted.

Does Militant Faith change notable passives randomly per gem and would I need to get more and keep trying until it doesn't change Overcharge?

The number determines what happens (whether nodes change). So if that one changes, you'll want to try one with a different number.
