Endgame boss fights feel discouraging

To start off, I understand endgame bosses (Sirus, Uber Elder, Maven, etc.) are designed to be hard, which is OK. And it is generally fun to learn and practice the fights. So this is *not* a whining thread about too many deaths (I did, but I am not complaining), nor about tuning their HP/damage/skills.

The part I particularly feel discouraging is that it is just too expensive to "learn and practice". Essentially, you would need to spend a few hours farming for fragments or buy them for ~100c to ~1ex (which also takes time to farm before you can efficiently clear endgame content), so that you earn yourself 6 tries, with which you may or may not be able to even see the whole skill set of the boss, let alone practicing against them. It is hard to imagine such cost for merely encountering a boss in a successful "hard game". Taking a "soul-like game" in the broader sense (Dark Soul, Sekiro, Nioh, etc.), instead of reviving somewhere 1 minute's walk from boss room, it is like you have to clear the area 100 times before the boss room is unlocked again.

Here I can think of at least two ways of smoothing the learning curve of boss fights, which worked for me in other games. And hopefully neither will be disruptive to those who farm the bosses or wish to trade for the loot from them.
1. Make them repetitively accessible before 1st down. This can be implemented as maybe a quest item for the first try.
2. Have a "practice/testing mode" variant for bosses with no loot but can be accessed much cheaper.

Again, I am just a player who wish to get better at the game. And just some random thoughts on how POE might become a better game.

POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
I've had this sentiment for years. I doubt they will ever change it.

It's not at the top of my issues with the game but it's definitely there especially as someone who would like to game with friends. I can't in good conscience suggest that someone try the game knowing that they'll hit walls like that and just be frustrated.
Stronggly disagree. Their preestigeous contend for elitest actully profesonal plyers. End gamer boisses therfore aspriratonary and desinged to be 'plyed forevever'.

I think the issue is they don't want people beating them too fast. Because if the community as a whole gets plenty of cheap opportunity to practice and then easily crush them, GGG would need to come up with the next big bad thing sooner.
They are very discouraging to learn and it is a problem, I've long thought they should let you put a single fragment in for a version of the fight that drops nothing but it isn't the kind of experience they are going for.

They want you to be stressed when you go in, its part of the enjoyment when you succeed (or fail in some cases). While it is expensive if you measure the fragments it isn't really that bad if you just don't pay attention to them or alternatively farm up and buy a block of sets.

10ex isn't that bad to farm and will buy you plenty of goes to learn a new boss, it might take you more or less time but as the goals to have fun if you have fun on the way it really doesn't matter.
