Mobs drop additional Conqueror map sextant not always dropping map.

Thanks for your report, this is intended.

The map should be able to drop if it is in your list of Favoured maps.

Some maps however cannot be favoured since they don't exist on the Atlas such as Maze of the Minotaur and these will always be converted to Basic Currency.
