Need some advice on crafting dot gloves

So I got here right now.

Planning to try craft prefix on it, so I guaranteed to get suffix, then beastcraft or drop ex twice to get Hunter's dot mod and in case of failure lock prefixes and scour then repeat. But maybe there is a way to make it more deterministic? Maybe I am missing something.

Me personally I would unveil a prefix, then lock prefixes and Harvest reforge Chaos to get the dot.

I want to craft "increased damage during any flask effect" mod. Unveiling feels too risky. 2/3 chance to lose valuable mod and only one veiled mod is useful for me.
That's different. 0 chance success because that's a signature mod (you can't unveil it onto these gloves). Honestly with how much it would cost to fix this way, I'd just see if I can buy it.

What signature mod?
I checked trade for gloves with same base and similar mods. Cheapest one was 25ex and another one 500ex.

Is it so big difference between craftable version and veiled? Craftable has range 24-28 and veiled 29-32, right? Wiki shows only crafted versions.
