Severe Rubberbanding/Desync/Teleporting while using Lockstep

I recently started playing the game again after taking a break for a few leagues. Since the start of this league I have noticed severe rubberbanding issues while lockstep networking mode is enabled. To my understanding, this should not be possible as I should instead experience stuttering or freezing with latency issues. The problem causes my character to frequently teleport wildly around the map, sometimes large distances (more than would be possible with my movement skills) ahead or behind me. It is very intermittent, with some maps not experiencing any rubberbanding, and varied in severity. I am certain that it is not due to any in-game mechanics, such as spell echo, that would cause my movement skills to behave in this manner as the issue will sometimes persist for 10-15 seconds even if I completely remove my hands from the keyboard.

I'm using the exact same setup I have played PoE on before, same network setup, computer, everything. Nothing has changed on my end and this is the first time I've experienced such severe issues. I am on a wired connection, have ~30ms latency consistently while mapping and no packet loss. My in-game performance meter, set to latency only mode, does not show any irregular spikes or activity. I have also tried switching to predictive networking mode and experienced the exact same issues. I am very puzzled as to what might be causing this.

Here is a recent WinMTR test result that I ran during a 40% delirious map, with lots of screen effects, mob density, etc. I experienced no performance related issues other than the aforementioned desync/rubberbanding. I also ran around 10 additional tests aside from this one, against multiple different servers/maps and received similar results from all of them, while still experiencing the issue.

I do not have any personal video or picture evidence of this occurring, as it is very intermittent and hard to document without recording my gameplay 100% of the time. However, I did find a reddit thread from several years ago with a video that displays the exact same issue I am experiencing now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/36mbir/slight_rubberbanding_with_lockstep_enabled/

Video outlining issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tObi2v-BG48

The thread seems to also suggest that this shouldn't be possible with lockstep enabled and to submit a bug report.

Any help would be appreciated as to how I could alleviate or resolve this issue, as it puts a very large strain on gameplay, especially when trying to grind from level 99 to 100.

Im experiencing the same problem and I'm a new player. I haven't been able to find any solutions anywhere yet. I am just unable to move around with my movement skills (whirling blades), every time I move, it teleports right back.
