forbidden flesh + scion

I have a question, with my scion i got 2 ascendancies, 1 pathfinder and second chieftain, if I use forbidden flesh to get trickster, this will work?... or with forbidden flesh I only can take another character ascendancy....

I mean, I can have 2 ascendencies from ranger?... Thanks

you can have any scion ascendancy you havent already taken.
